Dear Customers, Partners and Friends,

A busy year lies behind us. The E.coli outbreak and dioxin scandal have placed the German consumer protection authorities in front of big challenges.  Moreover, the subject of transparency in consumer protection has increasingly become the focus of public attention and preoccupied both the authorities and the industry.

In the coming years we will continue to put all our energy into offering you our support as a reliable partner by helping you master your day-to-day tasks and new challenges. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust you have placed in us and for our very fruitful cooperation.

As in previous years, we have chosen to refrain from sending greeting cards and gifts. Instead we will make a donation to an association which supports the development of rural areas in southern Africa called Entwicklung der ländlichen Räume im südlichen Afrika e.V. (www.foerderverein-suedliches-afrika.org). This donation will be used to fund the studies of students of agronomy at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa as well as advanced training programmes for woman in Tansania.
