BALVI – Consultation and Software Production in Consumer Health Protection

BALVI specialises in the processing of information related to consumer health protection. With our software system BALVI iP, we have established a national standard, which is continuously being enhanced. Here we are increasingly relying on web-based solutions.

BALVI mobil is a programme which facilitates the electronic recording data on site. No more paper forms, no collection of redundant information. Instead, the direct transfer of sampling data to the testing lab.

By unifying and standardising the master data on various procedures, the central register forms the basis for an efficient and reliable exchange of specialist data.

BALVI GmbH is one of nine partners involved in the SiLeBAT research project. SiLeBAT stands for "Sicherung der Futtermittel- und Lebensmittelwarenketten bei bio- und agroterroristischen Schadenslagen" (Securing Feed and Food Supply Chains in the Event of Bioterrorism and Agroterrorism Incidents).

BALVI supports the activities of the Förderverein zur Entwicklung der ländlichen Räume im südlichen Afrika e.V., a German foundation promoting development in the rural areas of southern Africa.
